Japan is one of my favourite countries in Asia, and in the world. I have been interested in Japanese culture since I was a child. But besides that, I believe it is a fascinating place for a foreigner, a foodie and a passionate traveler because it’s so contrasted, so varied, and so remote from a European culture.
I have traveled several times to Japan and enjoyed discovering cities and countryside alike. My favourite places to visit are Shinto shrines and more generally, spiritual and mystical places. From Honshu to Kyushu islands, I’m convinced the country hasn’t delivered all its secrets – however far you’ve roamed its roads.
