This “Destinations” section is part journal, part guide: travel tales, itineraries, and the places I’ve particularly loved along the way. It’s where I collect the countries and cities I’ve explored, the addresses I’d actually send a friend to, and the food I still think about.
Some of these places hit close to home: I was born on breathtaking Reunion Island, and have lived between Europe and Asia for years, so you’ll mostly find stories from these three continents here, told from the inside, as much as I can.
I’ve been travelling on my own since I was 16 (I’m almost double that age now), and I’ve been falling for places, people, and their stories the whole way through. These days I’m based in Paris, where I’ve been writing for several travel publications for almost 10 years.
I hope you find what you’re looking for here. And if not, I hope you fall in love with somewhere you weren’t even looking for. Wishing you a fabulous journey, wherever it takes you.

If you’re curious about the writing itself, the guides I’ve published, the podcast episodes I’ve recorded live over in The Fablab.
And if you’d rather explore by theme than by map, I’ve pulled some of my favourite threads together too:
